Paying homage where homage is due. Historically Black Colleges & Universities (HBCU) played a critical role in ensuring that African-Americans received a quality education. During times of segregation, this was often times the only place for people of color to get a college education. HBCU's are still going strong today for people of different races and backgrounds. So, it was a no brainer for us to create this gem.
